Shasmi Beauty is seeking Spanish Tutors to work remotely in the U.S. We deliver high-quality online foreign language tutoring for children.

Our students are children 5-15 years old who are learning a foreign language and are looking to practice their conversational skills.

We provide a fun and convenient way for our students to learn with individualized tutoring sessions and engaging conversation-starting content.

Currently, we need the right candidate to provide one-on-one conversational tutoring for 5-15 year old children via video conference. Tutors work 15-25 hours of their choosing per week from the comfort of their own home/room.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our tutors help kids improve their Spanish fluency through fun, interesting conversations over video-conference. Our focus is on discussing topics the child is passionate about, not word drills and grammar.

During the session, the tutor will use content such as photos, poems and short videos that are provided by us to spark a fun conversation.

Tutors gently help with new words or corrections as needed and add new words to the student’s personalized word list.

Tutoring sessions last 25 or 50 minutes. 5-20 minutes of prep time is required before each session. Sessions are recorded for later review by the student and for ensuring quality.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliable, high speed internet connection.

• Quiet, private, interruption-free room to conduct online tutoring sessions.

• Ability to be punctual for tutoring sessions is a must.

• Availability afternoons/evenings and weekends preferred.

• Willing and able to commit to 9+ months of working with us.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Articulate, native-fluency Spanish speaker.

• Strong English speaking skills.

• 4th year undergrad, or Masters/PhD student/recent graduate from a top-rated university.

• Patient, kind and FUN. Tutors need an engaging and encouraging presence over video-conference.

• Experience working with children and an interest in early childhood education.

• Permitted to work in the U.S. or Canada.
