Job Summary
  • Performs technical duties related to drug distributionand dispensing as a member of the pharmaceutical team to improve the outcomeand quality of patient care, under the direct supervision of a licensedpharmacist. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicablelaws and regulations and Georgetown University Hospital'sphilosophy, policies, procedures and standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • HS graduate or the equivalent GED. Some college preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience (with IV admixture) preferred.
  • Registry with the D.C. Board of Pharmacy required.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have ability to utilize computer equipment, prepackaging machines, needles/syringes, and medication carts.
  • Needs basic mathematical skills and a working knowledge of the metric system.
