Job Description

Our healthcare client is looking for another project manager to support a new site initiative in Spokane, WA. They are partnering with another partner to open a newly branded brick and mortar primary care office in Spokane.

We are seeking a project manager that has experience in healthcare and ideally in construction management to help us develop and execute plans to build a new primary care health center. A project manager who has experience opening retail locations would be ideal. This will require light travel to/from Spokane and are estimating 2-3 site visits through the duration of the engagement.

Position Description:

This position provides IT project leadership for assigned business unit(s) and/or company-wide initiative(s) by managing critical, highly complex, cross functional, large-scale projects that result in significant process improvement, cost savings, and/or revenue enhancements for the Company through the delivery of current or new technology solutions. Projects are highly impactful and often new to the organization and therefore the risk is high. Responsible for visioning process, include developing project strategies, designs and deliverables. Applies broad knowledge, effective facilitation and clear direction to lead project teams through detailed planning and implementation. Manages the synthesis of detailed analysis to advise and influence Sr. Management on consequential strategic initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develops and manages highly complex project plans and budgets/financial data. 2. Manages conflicting priorities with other projects and matrixed project team members. 3. Prioritizes and influences team members, senior leaders and projects sponsor to drive results and successfully execute on plan. Interfaces regularly with C Suite executives. 4. Works with high level of autonomy to evaluate and solve difficult problems that impact the overall success of the project, as well as that of other organizational projects. 5. Synthesizes disparate observations and data to create conclusions and make recommendations to senior management. 6. Consults with clients and teammates to identify all facets of an issue and generate a solution. Understands potential impacts to processes and systems across organization and factors these into solutions. Excellent conceptualization, analytical and logic skills. 7. Develops and communicates expectations and success measures with team and partners. 8. Monitors process, progress and results against success measures. 9. Communicates both orally and in written forms (formal and informal), with all audiences within the organization and project team, including senior leaders. 10. Operate successfully in a highly technical environment. Must have the ability to quickly and effectively execute.

We need a strong PM with 5-8+ years' PM experience Experience with construction management, retail experience. Healthcare also ideal. Strong working knowledge of the SDLC and Agile and how it relates to the project lifecycle method PMP Certification Healthcare industry experience Ability to deliver needed messaging and decision-making with all audiences, including senior leaders, and in all forms (e.g., written, oral, developing and performing presentations)
