Monitor and analyze both financial and non-financial information about a portfolio of healthcare investments to ensure compliance with legal document requirements and provide management with strategic reporting information. Track completion of underwriting documentation and provide analysis and modeling to ensure appropriate portfolio investments that meet the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
-Provides analysis of both financial and non-financial information regarding a portfolio of tenants.
-Organizes timing, prepares documentation for and participates in annual site visits with tenant management.
-Participates in the due diligence process to underwrite the acquisition and development of new projects through financial modeling, market analysis, site visits, and evaluation of all due diligence materials.
-Monitors the construction process to ensure that development projects are completed in accordance with legal documents by consistently reviewing the project status with the tenant, construction oversight consultant, architect, GC, and developer, as applicable, and tracking the draw request and change orders internally.
-Protects the value of physical plants by ensuring building maintenance items identified by third party physical plant inspections are handled in a timely manner.
-Prepares concise, decision-making information and reports for management, by assembling and summarizing data, making presentations of findings, analyses and recommendations.
-Continually updates knowledge by tracking new technologies, healthcare trends, studying domestic and international economic and market trends to apply to portfolio analytics, and participating in educational opportunities.
Skills / Qualifications
-Technology proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technology quickly
-Detail oriented with strong analytical and financial modeling skills
-Working knowledge of financial statements
-Advanced internet research capabilities
-Excellent written and verbal communication
-Self motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and within teams to accomplish organizational objectives
-Ability to work under time pressure constraints and multitask
Education and Experience:
-A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related business field. Preferably with an advanced degree
-1-3 years relevant experience in finance, accounting, or real estate, preferably in a healthcare setting
