What part will you play?
This exciting role will report to the Vice President of Sales and work closely with the Solar Sales team
The primary purpose of the role will be to enhance and increase the build out of the GAF Energy sales presence in the Central Valley, California region
What will you be doing?
Grow sales of proprietary GAF residential rooftop solar products to existing roofing channels
Work with wide group of residential roofing contractors to introduce and enhance sales of new GAF solar products
Assure roofing contractors receive appropriate training, sales tools, etc. to successfully sell and install new GAF solar products
Assure that GAF solar products meet their annual sales goals
Represent voice of the customer and market for new product development in solar channel
Launch and sales of proprietary GAF residential solar products to traditional channels
Show residential solar products at trade shows and other events outside of traditional roofing contractors
Establish network of non-roofing installers and assure that they have the tools and training they need to begin and expand their purchases of GAF solar products
Work with third party finance companies to assure that GAF products meet financing criteria for their markets
Expanding industry contacts and continue to establish GAF as a significant player in residential solar
Other projects as required
What do we require from you?
3 to 5 years experience in sales with broad exposure to in-home sales during this time
Fluent in Spanish
Experience and orientation in working cross functionally and collaboratively
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Basic understanding of policy impacts on solar industry
High energy/high sense of urgency/fast-paced and can think on his/her feet
Create and present updated go to market plans to all functions in the business
