Product Sales Engineer
This company in Auburn, WA (near Tacoma) which one of the world’s largest building materials companies and manufacturer of innovative material solutions, is seeking a Product Sales Engineer for a full-time, direct role.
Manage product development, promotion and sales of the product, with a goal of generating $200k or more of sales in 2019. (50%). Initiate customer contact through sales visits, technical symposium attendance, professional organization memberships (ASTM, AGS and ANS), panel presentations, telephone calls, email and letters. Prepare exhibit materials and displays, plus attend trade shows, symposiums and technical conferences. (25%). Manage multiple concurrent projects, from start to finish, with emphasis on contractual understanding of Statement of Work (SOW) and Technical Specifications.
Develop project plans including detailed budget, project timeline, logistics, and resource allocation. Coordinate project effort with Operations, QA, and Finance Department to ensure effective monitoring of costs, efficient flows of production, compliance with quality flow-downs, design codes and standards are satisfied. (25%). Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate is required to have fluent knowledge of English. The selected candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree Mechanical, Process or Industrial Engineering preferred.
Sales Training. Accredited or recognized sales training program required. Other Technical Training: AutoCAD, SolidWorks preferred. Have at least 3-5 years of Technical Sales experience required.
Technical proposal writing experience required. Project Planning and Resource Management using MS Project experience preferred. Any type of sales accreditations or certifications will be considered a plus.
