Greenbrook TMS NeuroHealth Centers has a full-time patient-focused technician position in a clinical mental health setting with great pay and benefits now open in our Annapolis center!

This opportunity is perfect for a mental or behavioral healthcare professional with a patient-first attitude, solid mental health or healthcare experience, and an eagerness to learn! Greenbrook is seeking an individual who will be trained and certified to administer breakthrough behavioral health care services including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and esketamine therapy to patients with depression and other mental health disorders.

We offer a competitive pay range of $21-23/hr (based on education level and prior experience) PLUS a generous benefits package including 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and medical/dental/vision benefits.

This position will primarily work in-person in our Annapolis center but may require occasional coverage of other centers in the region as needed. We are seeking someone with availability and flexibility Monday-Friday to work five 8-hour shifts per week. Shifts are scheduled between 7:00am-7:00pm as our hours of operation are flexible and vary depending on regional and patient needs.

Primary responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Administering TMS or esketamine therapy, in accordance with all provider-established clinical guidelines and protocols including but not limited to: preparing the TMS medical device, reviewing all medication/treatment administration information with each patient (subject to provider preference).
  • Monitoring all aspects of TMS and esketamine (Spravato) treatments to ensure patient wellbeing and clinical accuracy including taking patient vitals before, during and after esketamine treatments.
  • Reviewing and administering psychiatric rating scales (i.e., PHQ-9, QIDS-SR16) to patients, as applicable, to benchmark treatment progress and ensure continuity of care.
  • Identifying and resolving any issues related to patient discomfort during treatment using FDA pre-approved guidance from device manufacturer(s) or applicable medication protocols and in accordance with all clinical provider directives.
  • Delivering exceptional patient care at all times by demonstrating empathy, developing trust, utilizing reflecting listening, and providing support to a vulnerable patient population.
  • Recording all treatment session notes and documents in EHR, collaborating with other team members and/or providers as needed.
  • Scheduling patients (both over the phone and in person), as well as conducting patient checkout procedures including collecting applicable co-payments and relaying discharge instructions.
  • Maintaining understanding of general insurance and billing procedures to support related workflows and requests, as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred, not required - see other acceptable qualifications below) and at least one year of experience working in a patient care or mental health office setting or operating room setting, OR;
  • High School Diploma, Associate Degree, Medical Assistant or other clinical certification may be considered with additional years of solid work experience.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and EHR systems, preferably AdvancedMD and SalesForce.
  • Knowledge of marketplace insurance payers and medical necessity guidelines highly recommended but not required.
  • Clinical Interviewing.
  • Basic Life Support Certification - will be provided.
