Sales Technology Consultant - COLORADO

The Specialty Sales Technology Consultant, under minimal supervision working with the Manager of Specialty Sales, is responsible for driving utilization of all Warner Pacific technology to reduce administrative expenses and increase broker productivity and loyalty. These products include the entire Pro suite as well as other tools created for use by Warner Pacific broker partners. The Specialty Sales Technology Consultant will apply principles and internal procedures, research and analyze issues, respond to telephone and written inquiries and initiate steps to assist callers regarding issues relating to online enrollment support with both Pro Apply and Ease and conduct expert level educational webinar trainings on Warner Pacific's technology tools (Pro Apply, Pro AMS, Pro Provider Check, Pro Quote, Pro Census and Carrier 411).

The Specialty Sales Technology Consultant handles more complex Online Enrollment and Warner Pacific Pro Suite Technology Tool customer inquiries.

Overview of Responsibilities

Promote the use of online enrollment tools

* Consult with Brokers and work with Sales Consultants to help integrate Warner Pacific tools into the agency processes
* Encourage the use of Pro Apply but also assist in the adoption of other enrollment and HRIS solutions where it makes sense
* Increase number of brokers who work with Warner Pacific by promoting and training the WP technology tools to gain greater adoption
* Attract larger agencies to utilize Warner Pacific by showing the value of our technology tools

Promote and maximize the use of other Pro Suite tools

* Pro AMS
* Pro Quote
* Pro Census
* Carrier 411
* Pro Provider Check (work closely with internal presales team and outside vendors to maintain networks are current and up to date)
* Warner Pacific Website

Technology Education

* Joint sales presentations and broker training meetings with Sales Consultants
* Keep brokers informed across the state about the tools that are available and how to use them effectively
* Inform and educate as necessary the Warner Pacific team regarding enhancements with Warner Pacific's technology tools
* Educate carrier partner reps on Warner Pacific technology tools for them to assist us in penetrating the market

Troubleshooting and Enhancements

* Identify issues and potential solutions to further enhance technology tools
* Provide a feedback loop between the WP sales team and users with WP management and IT
* Identify carrier specific challenges and ways to better coordinate or integrate with carrier partners
* Help identify ways to streamline internal processes and align with sales processes

Help identify and research new technology tools and platforms

* Enable Warner Pacific to remain at the leading edge of online solutions and meet the market needs with the latest innovations
* Identify new carrier or broker technologies that may impact WP's current tools or processes

Additional Skills and Requirements

* Minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent; advanced education or degree preferred
* 3-5 years of health care/medical sales/service experience a bonus
* Prior experience with Salesforce a bonus
* CO Life and Health License a bonus
* Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques
* Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
* Experience hosting live and recorded web conferencing and demonstrations, a bonus
* Ability to self-start and think/act independently and in concert with co-workers, management and customers.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills
* Exceptional written and oral communication, as well as presentation, skills.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain and foster positive, open communication channels with internal and external customers, with emphasis on sales force and carrier partners
* Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate
* Demonstrated ability to think and act independently and to consider all available avenues to obtain desired results for customers
* Demonstrated ability to remain calm in pressure situations.
* Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively
* Attention to detail a must
* Ability to perform the majority of required work 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with flexibility to travel
* Computer literacy with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
* Ability to sit for extended periods of time, lift a minimum of 5 pounds, file, stand, bend, reach and pull

Warner Pacific - Colorado

* Annual Salary/Hourly Range*: $70,0000 - $80,000 per year
