Associate Engineer

CoWorx Staffing Services Sturbridge, MA Full-Time

The Associate Engineer uses technical and commercial knowledge and skills to provide support and service to the internal customers such as operations, supply chain, and quality. Applies knowledge of product designs and fluidic systems to evaluate engineering change requests (ECRs), make drawing change recommendations, approve changes to drawings, troubleshoot production issues, develop new tests and procedures, support root cause analysis, support RMAs. This a role for a individual early in their career that has a willingness to learn and grow with the corporation. There is an opportunity for other activities as assigned

Responsibilities:

    § Address any “line down” events in a timely manner.§ Suggest, evaluate, and implement engineering changes (ECRs/ECOs)§ Support and/or lead VAVE activities to meet business cost or product improvement initiatives§ Support and/or lead RMA activities where root cause needs to be determined in a timely manner§ Other duties as assigned.

Desired Background/Skills:

Education and Experience § Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited college or university in related field of study § 1+ years related engineering design experience § 1+ years’ experience implementing GD&T on engineering prints Computers and Technology § Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products § 1+ years’ experience with SolidWorks or a related CAD program § Experience with Minitab or other related statistical analysis is a plus
