Associate Buyer

Curtiss-Wright is looking for an Associate Buyer to join our EST team. As an Associate Buyer, will monitor and perform the movement of purchase orders, interfacing continuously with our suppliers to ensure on time deliveries while updating internal customers with current information. You will also analyze data for possible process improvements.

Your Challenge:

• Closely manage system date (pricing, lead times, dates, etc.) to ensure accuracy and monitor orders to ensure vendor commitments and/or expedite needs are fulfilled.

• Effectively communicating details of purchase orders to various internal to ensure all requirements are met

• Ensure Approved Vendor List management and compliance

• Gather supplier scorecards each month and send to suppliers; follow up on actions as needed to sustain supplier performance

• Assist with quoting requests

• Place orders for indirect purchases

• Support outside processing procedure as needed

• Represent Supply Chain Team at daily Production meetings.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Your Expertise:

• Excellent organizational skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team-environment.

• Highly adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

• A working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of products

• 1-2 years in a similar role

• Associates Degree required. Bachelor's preferred

• Must possess a valid driver's license.

• Willing and able to lift 50+ lbs.
