Mechanical Planner Must have a good understanding of craft skill sets and application of those craft skills when applying them to job tasks.
Operations and Maintenance experience is preferred to have gained and demonstrated the knowledge/skill set needed in this job.
Works independently to produce quality results and overcomes obstacles in order to complete jobs and maintain plant backlog.
Computer skills are required to be able to adequately use windows based programs and other global computer systems.
Must be proficient with current hardware and software tools.
Must be able to create a complete job package from the work order scope and then ensure it is carried out in a safe and efficient manner as listed on the job package and update plan based on feedback from Do Maintenance Team .
Must be able to logically combine work steps to communicate work tasks to Do Maintenance team.
Must be able to include in job package, correct Labor, Tools, Equipment, Materials, Safety aspects, and Services required to complete the job.
Interactive skills are necessary in order to work with the many different resources needed to execute job plans. Knows the objectives and strategy for his/her specific business and/or function to achieve results.
