For more than 140 years, we’ve carried out Christ's healing ministry as St. Anthony’s Medical Center, delivering compassionate care to area residents. Today, as Mercy Hospital South, we continue that legacy. Mercy Hospital South is the third-largest medical center in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Our team offers advanced medical treatment in several specialties, including acute rehabilitation, cardiology, maternity services, oncology/cancer care, orthopedics, neurology/stroke, surgery and emergency medicine.

Provides functional oversight to all EVS co-workers. Plans work flow and directs shift activities. Responds to calls from all departments of Mercy Hospital - South. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or GED equalivelant required.
Experience: 5 years supervisor experience in a health care setting preferably.
Other: Ability to read and understand basic instructions. Is organized, self-motivated and has the ability to communicate directions in a clear, concise manner. Must be computer proficient with generating schedules, time keeping, floor care experience, and must be service oriented and able to anticipate the needs of others and respond appropriately.
Preferred Experience: Minimum of one year previous work experience in a leadership role is preferred.
Preferred Other: Associate's Degree or equivalent.
