A Fortune 500 Financial Company in Bloomington, MN is looking for a New Business Rep to join their dynamic team. This is a great opportunity to get your foot-in-the-door with a company that promotes from within!

Job Duties:
  • Review, evaluate and process case work with minimal supervision according to department procedures.
  • Analyzes case information and identifies appropriate action path based on where the case is in the process.
  • Provides and collects information ensuring systems are both updated and noted with the appropriate level of detail. 
  • Communicates with and/or creates correspondence for producers, field offices and external interested parties as applicable.
  • Adapts quickly to changing responsibilities and maintains effective knowledge of other tasks previously assigned.
  • Leverages training opportunities to develop new skills toward more complex processing.
  • Provides and collects information ensuring systems are both updated and noted with the appropriate level of detail.
  • Support workflow management by working in different queues/roles as assigned and proactively continue to build upon processing knowledge and skills.
  • Updates workflow and administrative systems and documents file as appropriate. 
  • Conduct the comprehensive review and processing of new business applications and requirements.
  • Verify that information is accurate and complete, obtain all necessary paperwork.
  • Effectively communicate with inside and outside customers.
  • Will be answering in bound calls and making out bound calls. 
  • Utilize provided systems to maintain an accurate and efficient flow of new business.
  • Track, monitor, and communicate status of all new business submissions from receipt to underwriting.
  • Respond to case questions regarding status of applications and related items. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to promote ongoing production.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • 1+ years experience in a professional environment. 
  • Experience with CRM, data entry, Microsoft (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Analytical skills.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple systems.
  • Motivation and ability to learn new concepts quickly and adapt to changing environments.
  • Business writing and ability to communicate effectively based on audience.
