About the role

The VP, Creative Services will serve as the Chief Creative Director for the Company Group portfolio, responsible for building and maintaining creative cohesion across all Company brands and channels. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader that will be a driving effort in helping the company innovate across all of its platforms by getting the most out of all creative resources both internal and external. They will create the ideal mix of agencies and in-house resources to deliver extraordinary work that performs for the business.

You will be responsible for crafting an integrated agency model and the ability to partner across agency lines and businesses. Developing strong relationships with marketing as well as business partners is critical. We are going to create a new type of organization to support an industry that literally changes every day.

You will be responsible for nurturing the in-house capability for Company. This includes continually assessing the company needs based on volume, value and access to talent, to figure out the right work to in-house. Assessing the talent required to complete the work with excellence and optimizing the process flow and operations for all work that is both in-housed as well as that which is executed by external agency partners. This process will identify the right resource to work on each project and will seamless to rest of the marketing organization.

This role will ensure creative excellence as well as identify new creative opportunities of growth for the Company brand. They will be well positioned to ensure synergies and effectiveness of all campaigns from the top of the funnel all the way down. The candidate will have a consistent track record of launching major brand campaigns that have had a positive impact on brand perception as well as brand performance.

  • Drive overall creative output in every area of execution for the best performance for the brand and business.
  • Create engaging & responsive, customer focused communications across all vehicles and channels.
  • Drive and inspire creative ideation and new ideas
  • Identify and scope areas of creative work that should be brought in-house and help build infrastructure to facilitate
  • Work with Finance to determine ROI for In-house model and ensure the projected value is attainable each year.
  • Continually examine Org structure and team skills to for fit and support capability
  • Work with PMs and Account Services to build agile workflow that is flexible to execute all levels of creative
  • Establish a hiring practice that attracts the best talent
  • Evaluate the current in-house agency roster, and do an agency RFP if necessary
  • Assume fiscal responsibility for annual agency contracts
  • Employ Production Consultation to ensure all productions are being executed in the most cost-effective way without compromising creative output
  • Actively build partnerships with marketing and business units
  • Keep abreast of evolving industry and emerging trends & technologies

  • Ability to present and sell comprehensive creative campaigns to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to identify mission and values to drive a creative culture 
  • Strong understanding of media to ensure the right creative is being developed for your audience
  • You’ve had consistent success as an integrated marketer. 
  • You have experience in building compelling and effective campaigns across digital and traditional communications
  • Ability to understand and hire for technical needs of the business
  • A history of leading high-performance teams, and passion and talent to inspire others to high achievement
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues and external partners
