As an Outside Sales Representative you are charged with developing and maintaining customers within the Federal Contractor and End-User community. As account manager, you will be responsible for uncovering opportunities within the System Integrator community, government end customers and strategic small businesses. While also maintaining and managing current customers and programs. Other key aspects of this position will involve working closely with Anixter’s vendor community, Anixter’s Enterprise Account Representatives, and positioning Anixter’s Supply Chain Services.
Your sales skills need be unrivaled, but it also helps if you have:
- Ability to sell on Value, not price
- Aptitude to manage large, global and complex programs
- Familiar with government contracts, programs and procurement
- Highly organized and able to manage/develop multiple relationships with customers and vendors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A confident and determined approach
- Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection

- Self-Starter and energetic
