Your Role on the Team Position Summary: The MRI Technologist performs the full range of basic and advanced level procedures in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
The technologist acts as resources to others as needed, and is required to be on-call basis and work varied shifts as assigned

Required Qualifications: Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including occasional weekends, holidays and overtime as assigned
Advanced Specialty Certification OR Graduate from an accredited school of MRI
Will need to obtain Advanced Specialty certification within 6 months of hire date
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support Venipuncture Certificate Preferred Qualifications: AART license/certification within six (6) months from date of hire Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms Conditions of Employment: The University of California, Irvine (UCI) seeks to provide a safe and healthy environment for the entire UCI community
