Job Responsibilities:
Shelby Foam Systems, a division of Magna Seating, manufactures foam seat cushions, backs, armrests, and headrests used in the automotive industry. Shelby Foam Systems operates on three shifts. Employees must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and some weekends as required by customer production schedules. All jobs are done while standing.

Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule:
• Monday through Saturday
• 1st Shift: 7a - 3:30p
• 2nd Shift: 3p - 11:30p
• 3rd Shift: 11p - 7:30a
• Overtime (willing to work)
Key Responsibilities
Production Operators must be able to perform jobs in various areas of production including:
- SPRAY: Prepare molds so foam does not stick to the mold
- INSERT: Inserts components in molds depending on part specification
- DEMOLD/CLEAN: Foam is formed, part is removed from the mold, mold is cleaned
- TRIMMERS: Examine part and trim any excess foam from the part to determine necessary repairs
- INSPECTION/GLUE: Complete inspection of part
- REPAIR: Repairs parts from inspection deemed necessary, second inspection is completed
- PACKOUT/BOX: Boxes are built, parts are sorted, counted, packed, labeled and scanned for shipment
Key Qualifications/Requirements
• No experience required. Will be trained.
Typically bends, stoops, crouches, reaches, grips, grasps and pinches on a regular basis to access material product components and equipment. Regularly moves about to coordinate work on the plant floor. Ability to lift objects weighing up to 10lbs, and push/pull up to 20 lbs. Constant standing. Overtime may be required.
Skills test required.
