Accounts Payable Specialist

Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:

• Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, validation and payment processing
• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving payment issues promptly
• Ensure accuracy in financial transactions, maintaining meticulous records and reconciling accounts as needed
• Adhere to company policies and financial regulations, preparing reports and assisting with audits to ensure compliance

Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role, with a strong understanding of AP processes and procedures
• While experience in sports apparel is a plus, a passion for sports and a willingness to learn about the industry is equally valued
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred
