HR Coordinator - Human Resources

JTC Group Austin, TX (Onsite) Full-Time
Derived Salary: $51K - $64K/Year

JTCAmericas is seeking a detail-oriented and organized human resources coordinator to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various administrative tasks within the HR department, including new hire orientation, onboarding, and I-9 verification. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HR policies and procedures.



MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Onboarding:

  1. Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including offer letter creation, coordinating background checks, drug screenings, and reference checks.
  2. Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
  3. Conduct check-ins with new employees to address any questions or concerns during the onboarding period.
  4. Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies, procedures, and culture.
  5. Prepare orientation materials, schedules, and presentations to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
  6. Collect and maintain new hire paperwork, including employment agreements, tax forms, and benefit enrollment documents.
  7. Manage the I-9 verification process to ensure compliance with federal immigration laws and regulations.
  8. Verify employment eligibility documents and maintain accurate records of employee I-9 forms.
  9. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies as needed to resolve I-9 verification issues.
  10. Assist TA Manager with scheduling candidate interviews and other recruiting tasks.
  11. Backup on payroll if team members are out of the office.
  12. Employment verifications.
  13. Unemployment claims responses.
  14. Ordering HR supplies, such as Labor Law posters for every U.S. location.
  15. Other duties as assigned.


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  2. 1-3 years of experience in human resources or administrative roles.
  3. Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
