Director of Commercial Lending Operations
The Director of Commercial Lending Operations is responsible for leading the operations of our loan origination platform including pipeline management and overall compliance of our loan portfolio. This leader is responsible for supporting our teams in driving efficiency and productivity, leveraging systems, tools, data, and an urgent focus on closing deals and the return of our capital via loan payoffs.
What you have already achieved: (Requirements)
- 5+ years of experience in commercial loan processing and closing
- Multifamily bridge, construction, development lending experience preferred
- 5+ years experience leading a team
What you are great at: (Responsibilities)
- Lead the day-to-day processing of new loan submissions, closings, and ongoing compliance, including loan extensions and payoffs.
- Process and close loans quickly, creating urgency, while managing checklists and mitigating risks by flagging them.
- Lead borrower pipeline management, overseeing new loans, extensions, and other aspects. Also, oversee management of DLP's origination pipeline, maturity, and compliance pipelines.
- Directly manage a pipeline of loans and sponsor relationships.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop, document, improve, and implement workflows for loan processing, closing, and servicing.
- Ensure systems are consistently up to date and accurate. Take the lead as systems administrator and oversee the Finastra conversion for the Servicing team.
- Work closely with the relationship management team and transaction management to drive excellent communication and compliance with borrowers, delivering WOW while establishing and maintaining high standards.
- Lead full deal documentation, including internal and external credit memos, sponsor summaries, and more.
- Maximize the use of HubSpot and Finastra, driving 100% adoption and utilization across the organization.
