Job Description

Family owned and operated company in Mesquite, TX is seeking a Service Manager to bring onboard!
Job Description:
The role of Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day to day management and oversight of the facility. Supervise and/or perform all shipping/receiving, loading/unloading, create bill of lading, oversee security and maintenance of all rental inventory. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, dispatch drivers for deliveries, maintain and promote a safe, accident free and healthy work environment. Support field projects when necessary. This position must be able to maintain productive working relationships with co-workers and management. itiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve daily goals. Be accountable for timely and accurate maintenance records/log. Oversee warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employee duties and following up on work results. Perform duties utilizing exceptional safety practices per policies and procedures. Drive safety initiative; ensuring that the facility is maintained in a safe, clean and orderly condition. Analyzes and resolve work related problems and effectively communicate with customers. Perform all other duties as required by management.

Job Requirements

Strong electrical experience (load bank or generator knowledge preferred)
Leadership experience and knowledge of warehouse operations
Ability to read schematics
Effective time management and organizational skills
Courteous communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to lead, motivate, mentor a staff
Detailed oriented
Team oriented with ability to work independently on occasion
Excellent attendance and punctuality required
Dependable and hard working
Ability to communicate well bother verbally and written
Ability and commitment to work independently and with integrity
Mechanically inclined
Physical Requirement: Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull a minimum of 50+ pounds. Should be able to bend, stoop, twist, perform repetitive motion, sit or stand for 8 hours a day.
Working Environment: Willing to work in a non climate controlled warehouse environment and being exposed to various outdoor weather conditions.
Must have and maintain a valid Drivers License with a clean driving record
Must have dependable transportation
Knowledge and experience with forklift/pallet jack and safety practices/procedures
Knowledge with hand and power tools
Undergraduate degree preferred and 5 years experience in related field preferred
