Job Description

A large, growing company is looking to fill an HR Generalist/Accounting Support opening in the Metro Detroit area. This company has a fantastic culture and great work/life balance! They also offer a generous salary (dependent on experience/qualifications) and an amazing benefits package!

The HR Generalist will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and administering policies relating to all phases of human resources. In addition, this professional needs to have accounting knowledge - as they'll compute weekly commission bonuses and prepare & review payroll reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates in Human Resources (Bachelors degree preferred)
  • 3+ years of human resource experience
  • Recruiting and conflict management experience
  • Knowledgeable in HR compliance (EEOC, FLSA, FLMA, ADA, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience with Ultipro Payroll system preferred (not required)
