Data Integration Manager
Location: Alameda, CA
Direct Hire

Qualifications:
  • Complete understanding of ETL management and philosophies.
  • Strong core knowledge of ETL/EAI/EII space, with hands-on experience of managing complex data environments
  • Minimum five years of experience in health care or health care IT.
  • Minimum three years of supervisory experience required.
  • Experience in data governance processes and practices.
  • Knowledge and experience of Data warehouse concepts, SQL programming and job scheduling tools
  • Experience with prototyping & automating Data Integration Processes
  • Experience in business analysis or healthcare analysis.
  • Experience with validating and auditing data and data sets.
  • Experience with SSIS, Data Integrator, Data Services, MS Excel, GeoNetworks mapping software, Business Objects, PowerPoint, HealthSuite, SQL, VB, and product preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related, scientific, or public policy/business discipline.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the design, development and testing of data integration platform and enterprise information services across both internal AAH and externally to our partners and regulatory organizations.
  • Meets with cross functional team, architects and vendor partners to determine project scope and vision, set system goals, identify and resolve system issues, ensure the system is implemented as designed and in adherence to the implementation guidelines.
  • Ensure quality deployments via code review, testing enforcement, defect triaging, risk assessment, and any other activities that improve code quality through both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to create optimized data integration solutions and assist with project planning and estimation
  • Work closely with the departments to promote the use of database systems and improve departmental understanding and experience with using data to identify policy, operational, and data quality issues needing resolution.
  • Builds and manages high-performance and highly-motivated teams. Ensure task loads are balanced across resources and employees are given opportunities to grow capabilities per interest and direction.
  • Manages and mentors team of direct reports by providing career path conversations and guidance, and helping them achieve their goals through effective development and training plans
  • Improves operations by conducting systems / data analysis and recommending changes in workflow and procedures for claims, encounters, membership, provider network and clinical data domain. Collaborate with other departments to design and validate new data input formats, layouts, and specifications and assist with the implementation, documentation and, where appropriate, automation.
  • Provide support to Technology Operations, Support Development, QA, and UAT as needed. Participate in both internal and external audits involving data integration
  • Accountable to keep the light on to all data integration technology stake and other duties as assigned.
