Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager

MCKEE UTILITY CONTRACTORS, INC. Dallas, TX Full-Time

SUMMARY

McKee Utility Contractors, Inc. is currently searching for a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager help with all engineering aspects for our construction projects. McKee Utility Contractors, Inc.'s focus is the installation of large diameter water and wastewater pipeline projects in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. The successful applicant must be dedicated, detail-oriented, and articulate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•        Process and review shop drawings and submittals

•        Process and review RFI’s

•        Procure and schedule material deliveries

•        Assist Project Manager to complete buyout log and issue subcontracts & purchase orders

•        Work with Project Manager & Superintendent to schedule project in P6

•        Coordinate with Surveyor/Field Engineer to layout project as required

•        Setup HCSS for projects and complete task in HCSS as required such as daily reports, time, etc.

•        Obtain required permits for projects

•        Work with Project Manager to complete WIP reports for projects

•        Assist Project Manager with change orders

•        Update as-built documents

•        Assist Project Manager with monthly pay estimate

•        Review & approve project invoices

•        Coordinate subcontractor work and supplier deliveries

•        Attend company and owner meetings as required

REQUIREMENTS

•        Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other related degree
