CRH Canada is currently hiring a Credit Analyst to join their growing team!

Term: Full Time

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the review and process of customer requests for credit.
  • Engages in collection activities with customers through constant communication via telephone, email, fax or written correspondence.
  • Generates collections aging reports to analyze and determine which accounts to pursue collection activities.
  • Prepares accurate credit related reports for management.
  • Conducts analysis of customer financial information and credit history to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
  • Performs industry research by utilizing various third-party credit reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate/ bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Credit related platforms such as Get Paid and SAP
  • Association of Credit and Collections Professionals Training/ Courses Preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Credit analysis
  • Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; must be extremely tactful to effectively handle sensitive credit/collection issues.
  • Ability to develop interactive working relationships with internal and external contacts.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze business conditions and to develop new strategies in a dynamic business environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to constantly changing priorities.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure and high stress customer situations
