THC Sales Rep (Milwaukee, WI area) Milwaukee, WI Sales $40k - $50k
Job Summary: Wild Mind Ales is seeking an experienced THC Sales Rep for our fast growing WLD WTR cannabis beverage brand to cover the Milwaukee, WI market area. The THC Sales Rep is responsible for working closely with our on and off premise accounts, being a creative force in helping activate both on and off premise accounts and developing effective long lasting relationships at all levels of the supply chain.
This position will work closely with our distribution and retail partners in the Wisconsin markets as well as having the opportunity to potentially grow with our distribution partners across the United States and even international markets.
Not only must one be passionate about craft beer and THC industry but leading impactful execution as well. You must have a passion for sales and take pride in driving brand growth and profitability.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build on and off premise accounts in key areas throughout Minnesota - Increased package distribution for on and off premise accounts.
- Frequent travel is required.
- Deliver and merchandise product is required.
- Develop relationships with distributor sales reps to educate and gain placements in liquor stores, bars, restaurants, grocery stores etc.
- Work with and help execute a promotional calendar geared towards building sales and distribution.
- Identify new opportunities with distributors by maintaining clear communication of brewery capabilities and goals.
- Plan and execute fun and engaging promotional events including tastings with retailers.
- Maintain frequent communication with wholesale partners to ensure follow through on commitments.
- Monitor and report progress of sales goals and target accounts using LilyPad and other data analytics tools.
- Effectively communicate brewery offerings to new retailer partners through use of established sales techniques that will help us sell more beer.
- Interact with nationwide distributors to encourage rebuys and track depletion in other states.
- Work closely with the brewing team to create sales goals and strategies.
- Add new accounts.
- Routinely follow up with existing accounts.
- Meet with prospective retail, contract, and private-label accounts.
- Coordinate with production team to support sales goals.
- Meet monthly & quarterly to analyze and track sales goals and targets.
- Maintain all necessary distribution documentation.
- Manage sales performance reporting.
- Inventory management to avoid overstocks and understocks.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- 2+ years of craft beer sales or alcohol industry experience required.
- A working knowledge of the Midwest territory.
- Be passionate about craft beer and THC.
- Ability to regularly lift cases and maneuver full kegs when required.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining strong business sense in regards to time constraints, financial guidelines and company ethics.
- Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and clean driving record.
- Flexible work schedule with ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level computer skills with working knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and LilyPad.
