Warehouse Lead Job Summary

A custom furniture manufacturer in Grand Rapids is seeking a Warehouse Lead to join its team and manage warehouse operations, including forklift and material handling, shipping/receiving, and computer work.  This is a great opportunity to join a growing organization with a family oriented culture!

Warehouse Lead Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of forklift operation and material handling
• Experience managing bills of lading and other shipping/receiving paperwork

• High level critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear, concise, manner while building relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• An inherent sense of urgency to drive great results while being precise in executing work
• Ability to think outside the box to come up with innovative solutions to new challenges
• Ability to influence without authority and drive enthusiasm
• A customer-focused (internal and external) mindset, with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Time management skills to organize daily planning and monthly activities and meet deadlines
• Ability to shift priorities quickly without losing attention to detail
