The Supply Chain Process Specialist Senior develops, implements, and maintains business solutions throughout the Supply Chain. Works directly with clients, vendors, project and business leaders to identify requirements, and monitors audits to ensure regulatory compliance and EBITDA maximization. Oversees statistical, non wage cost and financial information and assists in developing continuous improvement programs. This position relies on education, experience, professional training and judgment to accomplish responsibilities. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected, works under minimal supervision and may lead and direct the work of others

Job Summary

  • Knowledge of and complies with applicable federal and state laws and the FMOL Health System standards of conduct
  • Complies with mandatory regulatory and credentialing requirements and participates in continuous improvement activates as assigned in an effort to ensure service quality
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the facility master data through computerized information management systems programs
  • Analytics data. Prepares reports, and monitors records in order to ensure accurate and efficient operations. Performs key verification of the work of Analysts 1 as needed
  • Prepares work sheets for contract analysis, supply standardization and utilization
  • Provides reports and analyzes data to support improvement processes and projects
  • Work collaboratively in planning and supporting short and/or long-term projects with management, customers and peers
  • Acts as system leader for new, current and proposed solutions, seeking opportunities for cost reduction strategies that benefit and retain a strong financial advantage to the Health System
  • Interact and negotiate with vendors regarding contract items to include, but not limited to pricing, service, payment terms, and regulatory requirements. Interface with legal counsel as necessary to ensure interests of Health System are protected relative to procurement contracts

Required Experience & Education

  • 5 years' experience in a combination of advisory, consulting, performance improvement, analytics and/or project management in a healthcare setting
  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree substitutes for 1 year of required experience.)
