The Training Manager will provide training for our operations personnel and ensure compliance of related policies and procedures of Interstate Van Lines
•Train all operational employees on related company policies and procedures.
•Manage training programs, New Hire Operational Training, Monthly Training at the company meetings for CDL Training, Operations, Packer, Mover & Helper, Office Moving and Fork Lift Training. Long Distance Driver Training & Orientation,
Continual Education Training Program. Also manages the Driver Training program including development and certification.
•Responsible for quality performance service delivery audits (job inspections)
•Assign & monitor managers responsible for weekly job inspection schedule
•Report & analyze job inspection statistics and findings
•Assist getting new Owner Operators up to speed and knowing how Interstate Operates with the Long-Distance department; i.e. Paperwork, Electronic Inventories, Ultra Wrap
and Priority shipments are some of the things that will be addressed.
•Setting up uniforms for all new employees and making sure there is enough in stock at all times.
•Working with all outside Service Centers Managers on training related topics or trends that need to be addressed.
•Maintains company training facility insuring cleanliness, and upgrade needs to promote a professional environment at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
•Bachelor's degree highly desired
•5-7 Years Training and Training Management experience required.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint of Intermediate Level.
CDL Class A license, ISO 9001:2008 certificate.
