Structured Notes Product Specialist - West Coast
CAIS provides financial advisors with a broad selection of alternative investment strategies, including hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real estate, digital assets, and structured notes.
CAIS also delivers industry-leading technology, operational efficiency, and world-class client service throughout the pre-trade, trade, and post-trade experience. CAIS supports over 50,000 advisors who oversee more than $6 trillion in network assets. We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join the Structured Notes team based on the West Coast.
This high impact position will play an instrumental role in expanding relationships with RIAs, Independent Broker-Dealers, and Bank & Trusts clients.
Qualified applicants will have a minimum of five years of experience in the financial services industry specializing in Structured Notes and capacity to understand a diverse range of technical investment products.
Working alongside their designated team, this person will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining existing relationships, and educating financial advisors about Structured Notes to help them build and manage their structured product business.
Top candidates will have excellent attention to detail and organization skills, as well as a great client service attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.ResponsibilitiesInitiate and execute new client relationships alongside the team in an assigned regionDevelop and execute a business plan to generate new structured notes business in the independent wealth management channelDevelop new leads and originate calls / in-person meetingsMarket structured solutions offerings to prospects and clientsDevelop customized solutions for clients to address their investment objectivesService existing client relationships and fulfill any request for assistance or informationLiaise with internal teams to ensure client needs are met in a timely fashionPrepare presentations and materials on behalf of the senior sales professional for client meetingsDevelop expertise on all CAIS products, business activities and infrastructureAssist Marketing in creating educational materials to educate and promote structured solutionsSpecial projects and additional responsibilities to be determined based on capacity, skill, and interestQualificationsA minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the financial services industryBachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related disciplineStrong background in fixed income, equity derivatives, and structured notesExperience in wholesaling structured products, ETFs, mutual funds, or other financial productsImpeccable written and verbal communication skillsExcellent client service aptitude and attitudeHigh level of personal integrity and ability to consistently deliver high quality work productExperience coordinating multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced and changing environmentAdvanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically ExcelClient Relationship Manager system experience, specifically SalesforceSeries 7, 63 and/or 66CAIS is consistently recognized as a Best Place to Work, and our culture is at the heart of our success.

If you are located in California or Washington the base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000.
Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. CAIS offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental and vision insurance, an employer matched retirement plan, wellness programs, and generous PTO and parental leave.
Additionally, CAIS offers a flexible, hybrid in-office model; for most roles, we do not require a minimum number of days in office per week.
