Spring Mountain Treatment Center is seeking a Plant Operations Director. The Plant Operations Director ensures the maintenance of a safe, clean, healthy physical environment for patients, staff, and guests of the facility. Specifically, the Plant Operations Director is responsible for the following:

  • Participates in maintaining safety of the milieu environment

  • Ensures orders for parts, equipment, selected services and suppliers are carried out in a timely manner

  • Develops and maintains skills for communicating with patients, vendors, and visitors

  • Manages operations staff according to existing policies, procedures, budgetary constraints and safe practice

  • Conducts room and personal searches as outlined in policies

  • Maintains orderly stock, tool and mechanical rooms

  • Maintains records of safety/security activity and in-service training programs

  • Works effectively with leadership in developing policies and procedures for unit and department needs

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Spring Mountain Treatment Center provides inpatient and outpatient services for children, adolescents and adults in the Las Vegas area.  We provide a caring and healthy environment that gives individuals a chance to make positive changes. Placing a loved one in a treatment program is not an easy decision for a parent, guardian or a family member to make.  It is most often a very difficult and emotional decision, but is necessary in order to keep them safe and provide him or her with a new beginning.  A key to our services is the ability to work collaboratively with the patient, family, or referring provider during treatment.  Our team of psychiatrists, nurses and social workers work together to create an atmosphere where patients feel safe and a plan to return home.

Job Requirements

Must be able to work alone or with others while meeting strict deadlines

Maintain awareness of safety issues and ensure compliance; basic or general knowledge of applicable standards and regulations in a healthcare setting

Stay abreast of local, state, and federal regulations

Be available for 24-hour/day on-call, seven days/week

Work well with outside vendors and contractors
