ROLE PROFILE

The Wait Staff Member will be successful when:

* IOYC public and private events are flawlessly executed through teamwork.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

DAILY OPERATIONS:

* Attends pre shift meetings with Event Manager and team to review event's briefing and timing

* Always maintains a clean and safe area for guests and coworkers

* Assist in the set up and break down of event tables (polishing glassware, silverware, setting and removing table linens, etc.)

* Setup and manages non-alcoholic beverage stations throughout the event

* Greets/ acknowledges guests and anticipates their needs

* Frequently tends to guests and tables, serving and clearing areas when necessary

* Ensures all supplies are properly stored or disposed of following event

* Upholds high standards and positive attitude to ensure the best experience

* Assist in post cruise cleaning

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

* Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings and weekends

* Must be 16 years of age or older

* Exceptional customer service skills and hospitality values

* Takes initiative and thrives in a team environment

* Multitasks in a fast-paced atmosphere while maintaining attention to detail

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands for this position are sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodation.
