Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services throughout Oldham and Jefferson Counties. Our services allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. Our vision at Home Instead Senior Care is to help people live their best life in the face of aging.

We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic professional to attract, interview, and hire CAREGivers to care for clients. This role that will manage the full recruiting cycle of CAREGivers with support from other members of the Recruiting and Human Resources team.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Attracting new candidates using both social and print media
  • Screening candidates online, over the phone and in personal interviews
  • Developing relationships with local universities and career centers through job fairs and presentations
  • Creating new recruitment strategies to market our open positions and attract additional applicants
  • Assisting in coordinating CAREGiver schedules to properly cover all clients’ needs
  • Solving CAREGiver and client problems and ensuring satisfactory care
  • Managing client and CAREGiver information in our company database
  • Assisting other functions of the office as necessary
  • On-call rotation list

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A positive attitude with a passion for working with people and performing meaningful work
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks at once and prioritize goals
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • The ability to work independently to meet challenging goals and deadlines
  • An outgoing and sales-oriented personality
  • Advanced computer skills, including heavy use of Microsoft Office, Social Media, and Online Job Boards.
  • Effective communication skills within the team and hiring managers
  • Comfort with outreach to passive candidates within the community
  • Creative strategies to attract a pool of candidates consistently

Job Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree or higher in Business or Human Resources-related programs preferred
  • 1+ year of Recruiting and sourcing experience preferred
  • Proven ability and experience in high volume recruiting
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team of your peers to achieve recruiting success for the company.
