Company is seeking a Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion who will play a critical and strategic role in strengthening, building and further defining a holistic DEI strategy within Company. This role will partner across all levels of the organization in developing, implementing and tracking progress against ongoing strategic and specific initiatives that enrich Company’s DEI program. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about DEI and employee engagement, has strong program management skills, and is able to collaborate with a wide variety of employees, departments, leadership teams, and third parties as needed. Key focus areas include partnering to increase workforce diversity by aiding effectively in recruiting, developing and retaining our diverse workforce and designing programs to foster an inclusive workplace.
This is an opportunity for the right candidate to work closely with the DEI council while sitting on the People Operations team to create immediate impact throughout the organization. This position reports directly to the SVP of People Operations.
Partner with Leadership, alongside with the SVP, People Operations to design, implement and execute company-wide diversity and inclusion strategies
Champion strategies to ensure Company’s culture, systems and processes support an environment that speaks to our values, is inclusive for all and where employees feel able to contribute their fullest
Contribute to and implement innovative, strategic solutions from the DEI Council to enrich Company’s company culture
Drive company awareness, commitment and accountability for the employee experience and diversity action plans across the business
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion as a member of the People Operations Team
Lead and plan DEI Council Meetings
Remain energized by challenges and approach them through a lens of positivity and opportunity
Measure, track and analyze the effectiveness of inclusion initiatives and predict future trends in our inclusion efforts.
Collaborate with the Communications team to draft and communicate our DEI-focused projects, events, and progress
Support employee engagement efforts across the organization and implement companywide trainings
Support the People Operations team in Employee Relations
5 + years in a formal DEI position
10 + years’ experience in People/Human Resources role or Employee Relations
Demonstrated experience articulating a vision, translating it into executable strategy and driving cross-functional teams to deliver against the plan
Experience in translating external and internal trends into innovative practices
Proven track record of facilitating company-level initiatives with multiple stakeholders
Communication experience exhibited at all levels within an organization
Experience translating data and analytics to develop insights, telling stories, driving decisions and measuring impact
Strong interpersonal skills with experience developing relationships with peers and leaders across an organization
Experience maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion
Experience in scaling company-wide programs with multiple stakeholders
