Senior Acquisition\/Program Analyst with Security Clearance
As part of the Strategic and Theater Sealift Program Office (PMS 385), you'll play a vital role in shaping the future submarine tender program, AS(X). Your responsibilities will include: * Driving Program Success: Provide acquisition expertise, develop strategic plans, and ensure compliance with DoD policies and procedures.
* Navigating Complex Requirements: Create and refine key documents for Defense Acquisition Boards and other critical reviews.
* Building Connections: Liaise with senior Navy/DoD personnel, fostering relationships and influencing decisions.
* Tracking Progress: Monitor shipbuilder performance, analyze cost/schedule data, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
* Shaping the Future: Conduct organizational assessments, improve business processes, and tackle programmatic challenges head-on.
What You Bring to the Table * Education & Experience:
* Master's Degree + 8 years of experience, OR
* Bachelor's Degree + 10 years of experience.
* Expertise: Thorough understanding of DoD 5000 acquisition processes, contracting, and shipbuilding programs.
* Skills: Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities, plus advanced MS Office proficiency.
* Clearance: Active SECRET security clearance verifiable in DISS (or eligibility to obtain one).
Preferred Qualifications * NAVSEA, Military Sealift Command, or shipyard experience.
* Submarine Tender, Sealift, or Auxiliary Ship experience.
* Certifications like PMP or DAU.
* Over a decade of experience supporting ACAT I shipbuilding programs.
