Job Title: Project Coordinator
Job Summary: The Project Coordinator position will execute all of the job site administrative functions. The functions of this position are as follow
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties include the distribution of mail, shipping of packages, answering phone and maintenance of the flow of documents, records, files, reports, and other information to and from a particular project site. This includes the proper controls of such information within the company and external to the company. These duties incorporate the adherence to standard University Mechanical forms and procedures as well as the other duties that may be assigned. At times the specific daily tasks may vary by project type, project requirements, and experience that the Project Coordinator has.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Prefer a minimum of 2 to 3 years administrative construction experience. Basic knowledge of Safety, Accounting, Purchasing, & Subcontracts, Project Startup & Close-out, Contracts, Submittals, Pre-Planning, Scheduling, Project Evaluation, Project Changes, Operating Procedures.
COMPUTER SKILLS -- Proficiency in: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access Internet, Vista software a plus.
