**The opportunity**

EY's Americas Consulting Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) organization is seeking a collaborative Content writer to craft long and short form multimedia copy, scripts and reports that resonate with key buyers and drive business objectives. If you're a creative communications professional, writer extraordinaire and impactful storyteller who enjoys writing compelling stories that bring to life the impact we help our client's deliver, then this is a great role for you.

**Your key responsibilities include the following:**

The position will require working with a wide range of professionals across the Americas Consulting service line and BMC organization to produce well-written, high-quality, and accurate stories for the C-suite audience. In addition to exceptional editorial and storytelling skills, the individual should be capable of interviewing senior leaders and C-suite executives on complex business topics, working in an environment with daily deadlines, and flexible to changes in editorial assignments and direction. The individual also must possess a high level of professionalism and a commitment to quality, and excel at conveying complex information in a clear, concise and creative manner.

**To qualify for the role, you must have**

+ A Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, Business or related field.

+ A minimum of four years' experience writing about complex technology and business topics, ideally as a technology journalist for a publishing company or technology trade organization.

+ A solid understanding of content best practices, including active voice, customer focus and benefit-driven messaging that resonates with target audience.

+ The ability to grasp complex ideas, then effectively translate benefits into easy-to-understand business value language for end-users.

+ The ability to articulate complex subject matter in a straightforward, concise and easily digestible manner for broad audiences

+ Confidence to professionally interact with various levels of leadership

+ Strong work ethic, a self-starter mentality and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

+ An impeccable eye for spelling mistakes, grammar errors, naming conventions and details.

+ The ability to interview senior leaders and translate their insights and perspectives into compelling, professionally written materials (e.g., reports, POVs, articles, blogs, Q&As, PPT presentations, educational materials)

+ Experience researching and writing client case studies (digital and print), brand messaging, web copy, long and short form articles, e-books, thought leadership, video scripts, marketing collateral, etc.

+ Proven organizational and timeline prioritization skills; scheduling flexibility to accommodate work volumes and the ability to manage multiple assignments

+ Experience working closely with project leads to generate a variety of deadline-driven pieces.

**Ideally, you'll also have**

+ An interest in continually monitoring and identifying developments affecting C-suite executives

+ Experience with cross-platform digital publishing and with multiple content types (social media, blogs, long-form digital and print articles, webcasts, embedded video, etc.)

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
