Coordinator of TC Elementary Kids

Reports To: Director of Next Gen

Team: Next Gen

FLSA Status: Full-Time, Exempt, Sunday-Thursday

Department: Next Gen

Summary: Responsible to coordinate all the implementation of the vision for Kids ministry, primarily through building teams, discipling small group leaders, and partnering with families, as well as collaborating on curriculum, budgets, and events within the context of Transformation Churchs Vision and Values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

* As a TC team member, responsible for personal spiritual formation, growing as an Upward, Inward, Outward disciple of Jesus Christ. This will mainly be expressed through the Five Characteristics of a Transformer (worship, connect, serve, give, invite).
* Responsible for protecting the Culture of TC and for living out the Five CsCharacter, Competency, Catalytic, Collaboration, and Chemistry.
* Proactively and consistently discovers, develops, disciples, and deploys TC Teens Leaders in areas such as, but not limited to coordination of Middle School and High School ministry environments in accordance with the Vision and Values of Transformation Church.
* Proactively leads and shepherds through relational opportunities one on one, small groups, midsize groups, large groups in order to have a personal relationship with Staff and Servant Leaders within Next Gen Ministry.
* Collaborates with necessary staff to ensure all TC Kids related communication, production, events, processes, purchasing, etc. are completed according to the established procedures within the predetermined timetables.
* In collaboration with Director of Next Gen, develops and consistently monitors the TC Kids budget and works within the allotted amount.
* Coordinates training and replication of Small Group Leaders and Servant Leaders to build teams for effectiveness; provides leadership and discipleship for servant leaders to fully implement the vision for ministry for TC Kids.
* Regularly creates and spends time with Kids during events, programming and pop-up opportunities.
* The Coordinator of Elementary Kids works in close collaboration with the TC Kids Team to carry out the vision and direction for K-6th grades within TC Kids including but not limited to programming and facilitating all aspects of TC Kids including environment, small groups, large group programming etc.
* Works with Director of Next Gen to coordinate strategies to effectively partner with TC Kids families, regularly connecting with parents and Kids to provide encouragement while pointing to discipling care, and resourcing parenting strategies in alignment with TCs Vision and Values which build healthy families.
* In collaboration with the Director of Next Gen and Content Team, executes age-appropriate curriculum that reflects the Vision/Values of Transformation Church and supports the developmental and foundational spiritual understanding of Kids.
* Proactively seeks learning opportunities to refine and implement new pathways and strategies to better disciple leaders, Kids and families.
* In collaboration with Next Gen team organize and schedule ministry opportunities including but not limited to: Start Here classes, Baptism, Jump team rehearsals, Outreach serve opportunities, Special Needs Buddy teams, and Milestone/Partnering with Parent events.
* Welcomes parents and children into fun and loving environment on Sunday mornings, ensuring the safety of children in our care with consistent check-in/check-out as well as observing emergency and security protocols.
* Oversight of room set up and preparation for Sundays as well as ensuring the room is left ready for the next event.
* Additional evening and weekend hours may be required as role responsibilities necessitate.
* Will perform other duties as assigned.

* Effective Interpersonal Skills: Fosters healthy interactions with children, parents and servant leaders through strong relationship building and coaching skills in a welcoming and supportive manner.
* Action-Oriented Excellence: Actively motivates others and self to work diligently toward excellence and the timely completion of tasks and goals; initiates action as needed and is willing to take on tasks/projects despite difficulty or uncertainty; manages multiple projects or tasks at the same time; dependable.

* Computer/Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), ASANA, and MyTC.

* Education/Experience:

Associate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Bachelors degree in early childhood related field and three years ministry experience preferred.

* Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and involved correspondence. Ability to write clearly and concisely, can effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

* Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

* Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed or involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in unique situations.

Certificates and Licenses: TC Provided CPR/AED and First Aid training and certification is required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversees 100+ servant leaders.
