Providence Medical Center is looking for a dynamic physical therapist to be a part of our Inpatient Rehabilitation Team in the acute care setting. Our therapists are part of a patient-centered team that serves a diverse patient population. Therapists are part of a holiday and monthly weekend rotation. Providence Medical Center is a contracted provider of physical therapy services for the Kansas State School for the Blind located in Kansas City, Kansas. We are looking for a physical therapist who has experience working with children in the school setting or who has an interest in working in this area to provide back-up coverage at the school as needed. Experience working with children in a school setting or other pediatric experience is preferred.Responsibilities
Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders. The Physical Therapist I performs responsibilities in accordance with Physical Therapy/Hospital Policy, state and federal regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements.Qualifications
Education and Work ExperienceBachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.Current state Physical Therapy license.Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
