You must be willing to work onsite at our Downers Grove, IL office and posses IL RN licensure. Are you tired of working weekends and holidays? Do you have experience in Orthopedics, Rehab/Neuro, ED, ICU, Occupational Health or Workers\u0027 Compensation? CorVel Corporation is the place for you. We are a rapidly growing managed care company working with Workers\u0027 Compensation clients.
This role will telephonically manage a caseload of Workers Compensation cases from a Corvel office. Corvel is looking for self-motivated, energetic and independent nurses to fill case manager positions to be a part of our professional team.
The Medical Case Manager is responsible to coordinate medical care telephonically for Injured Worker\u0027s, develop a comprehensive case management plan to facilitate recovery and return to work. You will work with Insurance carriers, Employers, Providers, Injured Worker\u0027s and Attorneys. This is a office based role responsible for working with a caseload of workers compensation claimants within a defined jurisdiction.
Requirements and Skills:
- Have an unencumbered current Registered Nurse Licensure
- CCM certification preferred or required to obtain in 2 years.
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Excellent skills in Microsoft applications, and Outlook
