Leads and manages assigned staff across a region comprised of multiple markets and/or major metropolitan areas or an expansion market within a defined region of Wealth Management. Represents Wilmington Trust in working in collaboration with the Commercial, Business and Private Banking teams to expand brand recognition and business opportunities in a specific region for wealthy clients.Primary Responsibilities:
Manage Wilmington Trust's overall revenue and expenses for assigned regional market(s). Manage the annual budget including establishing direction, setting team goals and ensuring the team achieves desired outcomes.
Oversee and participate in the development and management of wealth client relationships with individuals, business owners and families, including Trust Administration and Estate Settlement.
Work closely with families and their advisors to ensure the relationship is handled efficiently and effectively in the delivery of services to these relationships. Refer requests for additional products to the appropriate sales specialist within the organization.
Provide sales leadership and establish and manage the sales process for assigned teams.
Represent the Bank in civic and community activities.
Exercise usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management and terminations.
Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

The position provides oversight of negotiations for all transactions handled by assigned teams and has responsibility for risk management, compliance, staff development and sales management for assigned regional market(s).Education and Experience Required:
Bachelors' degree and a minimum of 11 years' wealth management, investment, trust or estate planning experience working with complex tax and legal issues, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 15 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 11 years' wealth management, investment, trust or estate planning experience working with complex tax and legal issues
Minimum of 4 years' managerial experienceEducation and Experience Preferred:
MBA (Master's degree in Business Administration) or JD (Juris Doctor)
CFP (Certified Financial Planner), CTFA (Certified Trust and Financial Advisor) or similar certification
Deep knowledge of the wealth management industry
Strong analytical skills
