Job Description: Job Summary
Under routine supervision, perform basic receiving, stockroom, and data entry responsibilities in the raw stockroom department. Prepare for and package outbound sterile shipments of finish good products. Perform daily inventory cycle counts of the raw component inventory. Receive in and restock raw component products into the pulling stock bin locations. Accurately pull products and complete all work orders and related inventory traction documents. Maintain organization and cleanliness of stockroom area.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
20 Accurately pull raw component product work orders and material requisitions and complete these transactions (picks) to and from various warehouse locations or business unit accounts.
20 Restock received product into the pulling stock bins utilizing and maintaining FIFO (first in first out) organization.
20 Package outbound Sterile Shipment per company procedure and requirements and contact courier to schedule pick-ups.
20 Perform data entry of all pick lists, material requisitions, and cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
4 Update and maintain various logs both manual and computerized.
4 Provide good customer service and assistance to all company personnel requiring stockroom assistance.
5 Perform daily cycle counts and assist the warehouse supervisor in resolving discrepancies in the raw stockroom area and participate in company wide inventories when required.
3 Perform daily clean-up and maintenance of appropriate workstation and warehouse stock room areas, i.e., stock bins, overstock racks, etc.
4 Perform basic receiving function as it relates to receipt of vendor materials and company purchases when required.

Expected Areas of Competence (i.e. KSAs)
1 to 2 years of previous warehousing / receiving experience (medical device industry preferred) or 12 to 18 months on the job training.
Education/ Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with computers and warehouse management systems, and applications Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Familiar with the use and operation of weigh counting scales.
Must be able to read (English) and follow instructions and perform simple arithmetic.
Good communication skills both verbal and written (English).
Good driving record.
Experience with pallet lift and fork lift operation preferred but will train and certify on the job.
Able to handle heavy materials 50+ pounds utilizing various warehouse lifting equipment (must be able to lift 40 pounds unassisted).
Perform courier service between Zimmer facilities, local material vendors, and local Federal Express or U.P.S. stations.
