Senior Accounting Professional

The CSI Companies is seeking an experienced contract accounting professional for one of their premier National clients. The contract is schedule to start right away and last at least four months. The qualified individual will be based remote.  The position will pay a highly competitive hourly rate. In addition, CSI offers excellent employee benefits to its contractors.

The key responsibilities include review and oversight of the preparation and consolidation of quarterly global revenue forecasts, reporting to support earnings release and revenue related SEC Filing disclosures, end of quarter financial reporting and strategic projection vs actual variance analysis.  Management of global team as well as partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of forecasting and reporting.  Continued driving of process improvement.  Your responsibilities will include understanding and management of RevPro system reports, as well as the flow of transactional level data through the various reporting systems and the proper accounting treatment under ASC606.  You will be responsible for strategic support to key stakeholders.

Preferred skills include a licensed CPA, Big – 4 experience (up to 4 to 6 years), 8 to 10+ years of general accounting and reporting experience, proficient in accounting research, strong problem solving ability, strong organizational skills, ability to work on cross-functional teams, ability to work with data / reports from multiple systems, strong ability to lead project teams within a department, SAP accounting software experience a plus.
