Summary of Key Activities:
The Senior Project Manager, Supply Chain Management Excellence (SCMx) provides leadership and oversight for the SCMxteam. Additionally the incumbent will support the global Head of SCMxin developing and operationalizing the global SCMxCouncil. The incumbent will develop and act as PMO leader to provide visibility and control over all SCMx-related activities. The jobholder must have strong project management, continuous improvement and change management skills to drive organization-wide supply chain project, process and technology results. The jobholder willbe responsible for leading high visibility large scale programs/projects that span across the entire supply chain. The jobholder will act as a project management and continuous improvement subject matter expert and will be a vital coach in helping the supply chain organization n successfully executing projects and process improvements.

Responsibilities
Key Roles & Responsibilities
•Provide PMO oversight for all SCMx-related initiatives
•Support the global Head of SCMxin the development and ongoing operation of the global SCMxCouncil.
•Lead and develop the team of global SCMxProject Managers.
•Program manage all aspects of key large-scale programs with significant business impact leading cross-functional teams that spanmultiple business units/departments. Programs will have multiple projects (typically 4-6) rolling up to the entire program. Track and report progress including appropriate KPIs to senior executive management on a monthly basis.
•Lead large-scale continuous improvement initiatives.
•Coach in Lean Six Sigma processes and problem solving to accelerate process and project results as evident in improved key performance indicators
Critical Competencies, Skills & Experiences Required
Strong program management experience
Extensive project management execution in a complex organization with a track record of driving results
Demonstrated ability to develop and motivate others
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize
Capable of communicating at all levels of the organization with clarity and precision
Able to work in a variety of cultures globally
 
Knowledge of supply chain, especially IBP/S&OP, order-to-invoice and/or logistics procurement and execution
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Bias for action; overcoming obstacles
Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel and statistical tools
Strong communication skills, particularly in the areas of written, verbal and non-verbal speaking and presenting frequently to large groups.
Willing to travel globally and to work on projects outside home region
 

 
 

Qualifications
10-15 years of program/project management in a highly matrixed organization.
Knowledge of problem solving methodologies such as DMAIC is a plus.
SAP and SAP/APO knowledge is a plus.
Bachelor's Degree. MBA is a plus
PMP certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification within 18 months.
Blackbeltcertification is a plus
