Job Purpose: The Production Planning Administrative Assistant is responsible for the logistics and material availability of product for the value added assembly operations. The focus of the position will be on scheduling and tracking of connector product and cable assemblies through the production cycle.
Key Learning Responsibilities include But Not Limited to:
• Confer with department supervisors and line leaders to determine status of assigned projects and workload.
• Monitor workflow through the department to insure customer or forecast build schedules are met; prioritize workload
• Expedite material that will delay schedules and alter schedule to meet unforeseen conditions
• Forecasts the future need of certain items in order to increase or decrease production levels accordingly
• NEC Phone: Reception
• Work Order processing, maintenance, including shortage analysis
• Running of expedite reports and expedite as necessary
• Bill of Material maintenance
• General clerical tasks including but not limited to filing, scanning and copying documents
• Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office and AS400
• Proficient in oral and written communication skills, team building and problem solving.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
