The Role:
The Senior Experience User Experience Lead for Research & Innovation program, you will be responsible to orchestrate and drive the design strategy for new solutions and experiences for enterprise healthcare customers. You will lead the translation of promising, but sometimes vague, ideas into clear solution propositions. You work with others to understand the needs and experiences of users and other stakeholders, using that insight to establish clear direction for the experience strategy and positioning of new solutions.
You are responsible for
Engage with internal stakeholders to scope and frame design involvement in the program and per project. Define a suitable approach, be actively involved in the execution, and coordinate involvement of other areas of design expertise within projects as needed.
Help to create contextual understanding by analyzing required information (domain, business, market, emerging contexts, related trends, target groups, etc) and help to define and articulate relevant insights.
Create surprising and relevant themes/concepts/messages that explore potential or articulate a proposition, based on understanding of user and business context.
Use rapid development and visualization techniques to experiment with potential proposition directions in order to gain qualitative feedback and obtain deep insight knowledge. You are responsible for guiding the creation of experience prototypes and for the assessment of these prototypes.
Communication that inspires the team and key stakeholders by demonstrating thought leadership and using effective networking.
Take responsibility for projects, by leading and facilitating cocreate tracks, applying a design thinking approach
Embody user expertise with stakeholders and team members in the following ways:
Product concept
Conduct and lead analysis of user needs. Create frameworks and interaction concepts across domains. Define role of product within a larger ecosystem. Establish design principles and guide teams with clarity and accuracy.
Information architecture
Create information architectures and workflows Create functional designs for application screens (wireframes and prototypes).
Interface & usability
Apply and define interface and interaction principles in conjunction with guidance from existing design language documentation. Define and apply usability principles specific to the contexts of use.
Visualization
Crafting experiences, prototypes and demos that together create a great experience in alignment with the company's brand and design language. Use appropriate skills (sketching, prototyping and specification) to define and communicate interaction concepts to marketing, software development, and customers.
Requirements
A Bachelor or UX, Interaction design, design management, or related design field.
8+ years of relevant experience in the design field.
A good understanding of development processes.
You may have won award(s) or hold IP.
A strong ability to help visually simplify complex sets of data/situations.
Passionate about innovation.
An affection with healthcare and personal health.
Strong presentation, verbal and written skills.
Strong understanding of the value of design and brand.
Leadership skills. The ability to lead and inspire teams through collaboration as well as direction, vision and planning.
Ability to relate to individuals and mentor designers.
Ability to champion the use of service design across the organization.
