Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“JPS”) is currently seeking a qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Personnel Specialist in the Philadelphia, PA area.
Job Title: Personnel Specialist.
Promotes and maintains professional conduct throughout the office. Supports federal staff with the Interview of applicants; recommends employment to federal staff; plans advertising; plans manpower requirements; provides employment information to applicants; assists with internal transfers. Coordinates and develops draft plans for federal review and implementation on policies and programs encompassing employment and staffing function. Prepares staffing budgets, projections, and employment policies, procedures, and practices for federal staff. These duties can include data abstraction, data entry and internet searches, depending on the contracts scope of work.
Bachelor’s degree; 3-5 years of experience in the field, or equivalent preparation. Technical experience in personnel management.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
