Reports to: Lead ERP Developer
This position creates user information solutions by developing, implementing and maintaining Java based components and interfaces.
Duties & Responsibilities
Performs development or revisions and implements technical functions to achieve the business needs in the system or system enhancement and performs post implementation reviews to determine if the system and cost objectives of the project were achieved.
Develops program documentation using structure diagrams, behavior diagrams, interaction diagrams, system and program flowcharts, test plans and conversion plans.
Performs program coding, reviews the development and coding of Java programs and systems. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research and investigation.
Conducts program tests by developing test plans and performing or overseeing testing to verify that the programs function correctly and that modifications have not caused errors.
Reviews and analyzes programs to gain understanding of the implementation of the underlying business functions, develops work plans and cost estimates and analyzes alternative approaches; advises users on the feasibility of a cost effective conversion to web based systems.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
A minimum of five years of experience in development delivering large web-based or non-web-based distributed and multi-tier solutions.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
Ability to use sound judgment.
Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details.
Ability to analyze data logically, defining, evaluating, and solving difficult technical and operational problems where solutions may be of a precedent-establishing nature.
A minimum of five years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite modules with preference for Human Capital Management, Financials and Procurement.
A minimum of five years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite tools and technology with preference for XML Publisher, Oracle Application Framework – including Java extensions, and Oracle Workflow.
A minimum of five years of experience in SQL, and PL/SQL writing for database driven applications and report writing.
A minimum of four years of experience working with Oracle databases, version 10 or higher.
