Job Description

  • Preregistration, check-in, consents and schedule all patient appointment types, across the clinics, ancillary areas, and hospital

  • Run and review coverage for patients and ensure the coverage is correct along with identifying high deductible/responsibility patients

  • Update the EMR with new insurances / corrections

  • Collection of copays

  • Utilize Epic EMR to confirm orders for patients

  • Follow up with patient orders and appointments

  • Work with Admins and Co-workers to coordinate appointments

Job Requirements

Great/Natural Customer Service - SMILES - GREATS everyone! 1 + year Patient Access experience in Hospital or Clinic Scheduling/Registration experience Knows difference between HMO, PPO, Medical and Medicare insurances Bilingual in Spanis/English Computer Savvy HS Diploma / GED Detailed Oriented Great Customer Service Reliable - Attendance Friendly & Patient Centric
