Job Description

Our client, a vertically integrated Cannabis start-up, is looking for an exceptional Director of Digital Marketing to envision and execute successful, long-term digital and consumer marketing strategies. As Director of Digital Marketing, you should have in-depth marketing experience and a passion for digital technologies and the role it plays in creating value, lasting consumer relationships. You will work closely with different teams to ensure consistency through all digital marketing channels. In addition, you will be building out a world-class in-store digital experience. You should also provide forward-thinking ideas to build and maintain a strong company web presence. This is a big role at a dynamic, well-positioned start-up. You will help define the consumer experience and, as such, our company future. Ultimately, you will drive all digital marketing and consumer loyalty efforts to achieve our business objectives.

Digital Marketing Director

  • Build our digital marketing roadmap
  • Manage all digital marketing channels (e.g. website, blogs, emails social media) to ensure brand consistency
  • Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of consumer interaction
  • Create strategy and manage all social media channels and activities
  • Work across the organization to develop a content strategy
  • Manage and improve content, considering SEO, SEM, and Google Analytics
  • Oversee our email marketing (including SMS) programs
  • Partner with Store and Merchandising leaders to envision and execute seamless and engaging in-store consumer experience
  • Forecast sales performance trends and act proactively to increase our market segment
  • Develop and execute our consumer loyalty strategy and program(s)
  • Liaise with Product, Brand, and Retail to increase client satisfaction through cohesive strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology developments and industry best-practices and regulations
  • Manage our valued external vendors to ensure vision and timelines are achieved within budget
  • Measure ROI and KPIs and prepare
  • Over time, build a high-performing digital marketing team
